In-Stock and Loaded LA5000LB Oven (3' x 2' x 5')

We recently purchased this oven for our small metal fabrication and powder coating business, looking to upgrade from a standard kitchen stove—and it absolutely fit the bill! The increased capacity is a massive game-changer; we can now process much larger parts and handle higher-volume batches all at once.

The overall build is incredibly solid, featuring heavy-duty door latches and an easy-to-use control panel on the side. It also heats up quickly, reaching our required 350–400°F temperature in just about 15 minutes. The only minor drawback is that the thick, heavy door sags slightly and rubs the floor when opening and closing, as the factory hinges struggle a bit with the weight. We are currently fabricating a modification to reinforce them.

Overall, this is a fantastic purchase that we would absolutely buy again. Our only regret is wondering if we should have gone even bigger!

Great oven, with the exception of the control panel. That thing has WAY too many settings, the screen is about the size of a calculator watch, and it seems to be full of symbols from a Predator’s wrist computer. There is zero info on this website regarding what exactly the plug and play kit comes with. The LA5000LB I ordered came with a beam L14-30 plug and receptacle. All in all it’s a great oven, using it for cerakote and it has plenty of space, just wish the control panel was way more simplified like a normal oven or electric smoker.

Was time for another upgrade! Went back to Light Armor Ovens and went bigger!

Couldn't be happier with our 3'x2'x5' Light Armor Oven! Customer service prior to ordering was very helpful. We then ordered it on a Saturday and received it on Friday - faster than we expected. Upgrades we chose included the heating element and one convection blower fan. Extremely happy with both upgrades as our products are coming out of the oven looking fantastic! Also highly recommend the plug and play upgrade. Just changed the outlet (came with upgrade) and we were up and running immediately. The cost is so close to DIY wiring, and the 10 foot cord made the decision easy. We have been coating parts all week and this is such a game changer for our shop since we had been using an old kitchen oven for the past year. The sides get a little hot, but don't feel we needed the extra insulation. We kept the flat floor so we can roll racks in. A window and light would be nice, but not necessary. Highly recommend this product - it's paying for itself in just a few weeks with all the larger jobs we can now accept.

Ordered my Light Armor oven online and it was a very easy process. Website was laid out pretty well. Leadtime was a little longer than normal. But they communicated with me well. Oven was shipped in package nicely. And with no damage. Oven seems well built with nice hardware. Once shop was wired oven reached 350 in about 20 minutes and maintained temp within 2 or 3 degrees for 3 hours. Very happy with it.

Just got my Light Armor oven today and love it! Built tough and warmed up quick. Ordered all the upgrades except the window and light. Looking forward to be able to powder coat larger and more items now. Wanted to order the paint booth but ended up making a red neck one.

Great oven! Build quality is fantastic, shipping and lead time was short, oven heats up really quickly and doesn’t have any leakage either. Definitely recommend this brand over other brands. The price is right and the controls are really well thought out.

So far, so good. We placed our order on a Monday and had the oven in hand about a week and half later, which was quicker than we had anticipated. The oven arrived in good condition and was easy to set up. We got a few of the upgrades and are happy we did. Heats up quick and is perfect for our needs. The exterior does get pretty hot in certain areas when it's turned on so keep that in mind with where you are placing the oven to make sure it's not in a high traffic area. Overall, happy with our purchase.

Took delivery of my Light Armor Oven last week. It was well protected for shipping. Put it to use as soon as I could' After installing the fan myself, which I do not recommend, (time vs money) the oven heats very quick and evenly with no leaks. Checked temp with Fluke meter temp probes. Plenty of room for my needs. The PID is easy to use and read.
Price is very fair for what you get. I would definitely recommend this oven.

Awesome oven! Definitely exceeded my expectations and is well built. Very happy with the process and shipping was fast! Heats up to 300 in less than 10 minutes from a cold start and retains heat. Happy Cerakoter!

The Oven is Great the door seal could be replaced with a different style to seal the door better. But overall Great oven

Totally impressed with this LA500LB. It took a little longer to get then I anticipated but it was worth it. I have put several batches through it already and it has been flawless. Also, I do have to say the delivery of it was extremely easy and smooth. I went with the regular wrapped version on a pallet and not scratch on it. We received our oven in about a week and a half from the time I ordered from the time it was delivered. It heats up to 450 in about 10 minutes and is super larger than I expected (great thing) we are able to do much larger projects and have had no issues. I was nervous about delivery due to it being so large but it was perfect. If you are thinking about an oven definitely check them out and you can customize it however you like.

I ordered this oven and was kind of nervous about shipping. The item this big, but it came in perfect condition undamaged and when I turned it on it came on and heated up within 10 minutes. I opted for the 6 feet with the upgraded blowers caster wheels, upgraded element plug and play in ceiling hangers. This oven makes it so much easier for me to Powdercoat large items and has helped us expand our business. I would definitely recommend buying from light armor.

I love this oven. So much better than trying to use a kitchen oven to do Cerakote and powder coating, and a great price. Get all of the upgrades. Trust me, worth the money.

Love this new oven! What an upgrade from what i use to have. This oven is a beast , heats up fast and keeps the temperature stable. I use it for Cerakote so i added the fan upgrade- well worth it! My next oven will be another Light Armor for sure.

We run a small business doing Cerakote and powdercoat and the oven we were using wasn’t big enough to do a lot of the projects we were asked to do, so we were improvising. We saved up and purchased the LA5000 and I’m so glad we did! Not only is this larger than we expected but it fit in the shop perfectly, shipping was amazing, and and it arrived in great condition. Now we have plenty of room to get bigger projects out and get them done faster as well, and we don’t have to wait over an hour for our old oven to heat up to temp. We couldn’t be happier with this oven!

we were able to bring 90% of the power coating we were sending out in-house with this oven and do the coating we were doing in-house in small patches in much larger batches. It is very efficient. We have not noticed much of a difference in the electric bill.

I have to admit, I was nervous about paying the full price (instead of just a downpayment) for something we wouldn't receive until 6 weeks later with a company that I have never done business with before. Everything arrived in great shape, craftsmanship and materials are good overall. The oven heats up very fast which is exciting. It seals up nice and doesn't smell too bad at 325. I didn't realize it would come 220v 4 wire instead of 220v 3 wire so I needed to rework for that but it's probably my fault for not researching that further. Customer service has been great so far, they answer their phones and emails which is awesome.

We have been working this oven round the clock for about a year now and have been very happy with it. My business Flippin Customized (youtube channel link below). We offer powder coating and wanted an oven that did not eat up to much space in our shop but could handle those custom pieces we have, this has fit the bill, we built a custom roll in rack and do wheels, motorcycle frames and more. We got the 60" tall unit, but if I could do it again I would go for the 72" unit.

I bought this oven last year in January. I Cerakote and use it probably 4 days a week. It's on most of the day when I am coating. I has been a great oven for the money spent. I had to brace the bottom and I put rollers on it and it's perfect. I drove to the shop from Louisiana and picked the oven up and it was as ordered. Got home, plugged it in and I was rolling.

Ordered this for an upgrade from regular oven. My son wanted to do his own powder coating. Ordered some upgrades that didn't arrive on the oven but were corrected quickly. It is 2 x 3 foot inside but you have coverings over the heating elements that take up a good 4 inches of space. Kinda limits the hanging area. Overall, oven is working well.

After shopping around we decided to go with Light Armor for our first oven for our new powder coating business. It shipped quickly, was easy to get started and has held up perfectly so far! Financing was also quick and painless. Great oven for starting up!

I purchased the LA500LB for my business as our powder coating needs have outgrown our old house oven. This oven was the perfect match to grow into from the house oven and still not eat up a ton of the shop floor. We purchased with the blowers, the top hangers, and the floor level base so we could role carts into the unit. There customer service has been great in helping us work through a few concerns. This oven has made our business flow smoother than ever before! It is large enough to hold the equipment we are coating and holds perfect temperature! I honestly can't reassure anyone enough how great these ovens are! We added a blower fan, upgraded the heating elements and went with the ramp-soak PID Controller addon. I would urge anyone to get these additions as well! Superior Products with Great customer service!

The controller took some learning but overall this oven has been great. Works perfect for Cerakote and powder coating. Would highly recommend the blower fan upgrade. Lead times were pretty long in height of pandemic but well worth the wait.
