Business equipment purchased and placed in service by December 31, 2026 may qualify for the Section 179 deduction. Here is exactly when to order so your oven or booth arrives in time.
How The Timing Works
Working back from December 31 with time for freight, holiday slowdowns and your electrician.
Need a built-to-order unit sooner? Add the Expedite upgrade (5 business days or less). Ordering after these dates? Contact us and we will tell you honestly whether it can make it.
What Is Section 179?
Section 179 is part of the U.S. tax code that lets many businesses deduct the full cost of qualifying equipment in the year it goes into service, instead of spreading it over several years.
What It Could Mean For You
Illustrative federal tax reduction from deducting the full cost this year. Your numbers depend on your business and tax situation.
| Example Order Total | 21% Rate | 24% Rate | 32% Rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| $2,100 LA2500B With Upgrades | ~$440 | ~$505 | ~$670 |
| $3,600 In-Stock LA10K6 | ~$755 | ~$865 | ~$1,150 |
| $5,000 LA15K7 | ~$1,050 | ~$1,200 | ~$1,600 |

Does it have to be delivered by December 31?
Generally it must be placed in service, meaning delivered, connected and ready for use in your business. That is why the order-by dates include time for freight and hookup.
What if freight runs late?
Holiday freight can slow down. We build in a buffer, but we cannot guarantee carrier delivery dates. Ordering earlier is the safest route.
Can I get an invoice for my accountant?
Yes. Every order comes with an itemized invoice. Email sales@lightarmor.us with your order number if you need another copy.
I use it in my home garage. Does it qualify?
Only if it is used more than 50% for a business. Personal and hobby use does not qualify.
What if my business had a slow year?
The Section 179 deduction cannot exceed your business income for the year; any extra carries forward. 100% bonus depreciation, which does not have that limit, may also apply. Your tax professional can tell you which works best.
